Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how information may be processed when you use StudySathi: NCERT & GSEB AI (the “App”). The App provides educational material and study assistance, including an AI Teacher feature. “We,” “us,” and “our” refer to the operator of the App.
1. Information we handle
You do not need to create an account or sign in to use the App. We do not ask you to provide a name, email address, phone number, or postal address to use its core features.
Questions sent to AI Teacher. When you submit a question to AI Teacher, the text you provide must be transmitted to a service that processes it to generate a response. Do not include passwords, financial information, precise location, or other sensitive personal information in a question. The identity and retention practices of the AI service provider must be confirmed by the App operator and disclosed accurately before this policy is published.
Data stored by the App operator. The operator’s current stated practice is not to retain AI questions or responses on its own systems after processing. This does not mean that the third-party AI provider or the device itself never retains data. Provider-side retention, logs, backups, and processing must be checked against the provider’s actual terms and configuration.
Device and usage information. Advertising and any SDKs enabled in the App may process device, app, diagnostic, or interaction information. The exact analytics and crash-reporting SDKs, if any, have not been confirmed. This policy should be updated if the App uses additional SDKs or collects additional information.
2. Advertising and Google AdMob
The App uses Google AdMob to display advertisements. Depending on the user’s settings, applicable law, consent choices, device settings, and Google’s configuration, Google and its partners may process information such as device identifiers or advertising identifiers, IP address, approximate location derived from IP address, app activity, ad views, and ad interactions to serve, limit, measure, and help prevent fraud involving ads.
Whether ads are personalized or non-personalized depends on the applicable configuration and user choices. Where required, the App must request permission before tracking users across other companies’ apps and websites and must honor the user’s choice. The operator must ensure that its App Tracking Transparency implementation, consent messages, AdMob settings, and App Store privacy disclosures match the App’s actual behavior.

3. Subscriptions and purchases
The App offers optional auto-renewable subscriptions through Apple’s in-app purchase system to remove advertisements:
- Monthly: US$0.99 per month.
- Yearly: US$3.99 per year, with a three-day free trial for eligible users when the offer is available and displayed in Apple’s purchase flow.
Prices and availability may vary by storefront and are shown in the Apple purchase sheet before confirmation. Apple processes the transaction. We do not receive your full payment-card details through Apple’s in-app purchase system. Apple may provide us with limited transaction, subscription status, or entitlement information needed to validate purchases and provide the subscription benefit. 4. Why information is processed
Information described in this policy may be processed as necessary to:
- provide AI-generated study assistance in response to a question;
- display and measure advertisements, apply ad preferences, and prevent invalid ad activity;
- validate in-app purchases and provide ad-removal benefits;
- maintain security, diagnose problems, comply with legal obligations, and respond to support requests.
5. Sharing with service providers
Information may be processed by third parties that provide services used by the App, including Google AdMob, Apple for in-app purchases, and the AI service provider used by AI Teacher. The AI provider must be identified in the production version of this policy once verified. These providers process information under their own terms and privacy practices and may act as independent controllers for some processing. We do not sell personal information for money. This statement does not mean that advertising-related data is never shared; the disclosures above describe the known advertising service.
6. Children’s privacy
StudySathi is an educational app that may be used by school-age students. The operator does not require account registration. The operator should configure advertising, consent, and any third-party services in accordance with applicable child-privacy laws and the App’s age rating and distribution regions. Do not assume that an ad network’s standard settings are suitable for children; verify and configure the appropriate child-directed or age-treatment settings where required.
7. Retention and deletion
The operator’s stated practice is not to retain AI questions or responses on its own systems after processing. Third-party service providers may retain information under their own policies and settings. Advertising, transaction, security, support, or diagnostic records may be retained by the relevant service provider for the period required for the purposes described in its policy or by law.
For a privacy question or deletion request relating to information the operator controls, email darkblueapps@gmail.com. Please describe the request without sending unnecessary sensitive information. Since the App does not require an account and the operator states that it does not retain AI chats, the operator may not have records that identify a particular user. Requests concerning data held by Apple, Google, or an AI provider may need to be directed to that provider.
8. Security
Reasonable measures should be used to protect information under the operator’s control. No method of transmission or electronic storage is completely secure. The operator cannot guarantee the security practices of independent third-party providers and recommends reviewing their policies.
9. Your choices and rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to, or obtain a copy of certain personal information, and to withdraw consent where processing relies on consent. You can use available device privacy settings and any consent controls presented in the App. To contact the operator, email darkblueapps@gmail.com. Rights and procedures vary by jurisdiction, and some information may be controlled by third-party providers.
10. International processing
Service providers may process information in countries other than the country where you live. Where required, the relevant provider or operator is responsible for applying appropriate safeguards to such transfers.
11. Third-party links and services
The App may link to third-party websites or services. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies. Review those policies before providing information to them.
12. No government affiliation
StudySathi is an independent educational app and is not affiliated with or endorsed by NCERT, CBSE, GSEB, or any government authority. Names are used to describe educational compatibility or subject matter.
13. Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated when the App’s features, service providers, data practices, or legal requirements change. The revised policy will be posted on this page with a new effective date. Material changes should also be communicated where required by law.
