Terms of Use
These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of StudySathi: NCERT & GSEB AI (the “App”). By using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App. “We,” “us,” and “our” refer to the operator of the App.
1. About the App
StudySathi is an educational app for school learning and study support. Features may include NCERT and CBSE learning material, GSEB textbooks and solutions, and AI-powered question answering for homework, revision, and exam preparation. Content and features may vary by version and availability.
StudySathi is an independent educational app and is not affiliated with or endorsed by NCERT, CBSE, GSEB, or any government authority.
2. Educational and AI disclaimer
AI Teacher generates automated responses and may produce inaccurate, incomplete, outdated, or inappropriate answers. AI responses are for general educational assistance only and are not official answers, professional advice, or a substitute for textbooks, teachers, or other authoritative sources. Verify important information before relying on it. We do not guarantee any particular academic result, grade, examination outcome, or uninterrupted availability of the AI feature.
Do not submit passwords, payment-card details, or sensitive personal information in AI questions. Questions are sent to a third-party AI processing service to generate answers. The service provider’s identity and retention practices must be verified and accurately disclosed in the App’s Privacy Policy.
3. Eligibility and responsible use
The App may be used by students and other learners, including minors where permitted by applicable law. If you are a minor, use the App with appropriate parent or guardian guidance. Parents and guardians should supervise children’s use, including the use of AI features and exposure to advertising.
You agree not to use the App unlawfully, interfere with its operation or security, attempt unauthorized access, misuse the AI feature, submit unlawful or abusive content, or copy, redistribute, or commercially exploit content except where permitted by law or with the relevant rights holder’s permission.
4. Advertisements and ad-removal subscriptions
The free version of the App may display advertisements through Google AdMob. Ad content is provided by third parties and we do not endorse every advertised product or service. Advertising display and personalization may depend on device settings, consent, applicable law, and ad-service configuration.
The App offers optional auto-renewable subscriptions intended to remove advertisements. The subscription benefit is ad removal; it does not promise additional educational content or AI features unless expressly stated in the in-app purchase screen.
5. Subscription options, trial, and billing
- Monthly subscription: US$0.99 per month.
- Yearly subscription: US$3.99 per year. A three-day free trial is available to eligible users only when shown in the Apple purchase flow and subject to Apple’s offer eligibility rules.
Prices are stated in US dollars for reference. The actual price, currency, tax treatment, trial eligibility, and availability presented by Apple for your storefront at the time of purchase control.
Free trial: If Apple presents and you accept a three-day trial for the yearly subscription, the trial begins according to the terms shown in the purchase flow. Unless canceled before the trial ends, the subscription automatically converts to a paid yearly subscription at the price shown by Apple. A trial may not be available to every user.
Automatic renewal: Subscriptions renew automatically for the selected period unless canceled in accordance with Apple’s subscription management process before the current period ends. Apple will charge the Apple Account associated with the purchase according to the terms presented during purchase. Renewal pricing is the price displayed by Apple at the relevant time, subject to any notice required by law.
Payment and management: Purchases are processed by Apple, not directly by the App operator. You can review, change, or cancel a subscription in your Apple Account subscription settings. To avoid a future renewal charge, cancel before the renewal date; uninstalling the App does not cancel a subscription. Refund requests are handled under Apple’s applicable policies and processes.
Restore purchases: If supported by the current App version, use its “Restore Purchases” control to restore eligible purchases associated with your Apple Account. You may need to be signed in to the Apple Account used to subscribe. Restoration does not restart a trial or guarantee that an expired or refunded subscription will become active.
6. Subscription availability and changes
Subscription benefits require a valid, active entitlement confirmed through Apple’s in-app purchase system. We may update the App or its features, subject to applicable law and Apple’s rules. Any material change to subscription pricing or terms will be handled in accordance with applicable requirements and Apple’s processes.
7. Intellectual property and educational materials
The App’s original design, branding, and materials are owned by or licensed to the relevant rights holders. Third-party names, marks, textbooks, and educational materials may belong to their respective owners. Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership of third-party content. You may use the App for personal, lawful educational purposes, subject to applicable copyright and other laws.
8. Privacy
Your use of the App is also subject to our Privacy Policy, which explains how information may be processed by the App and service providers, including Google AdMob, Apple, and the AI service provider. Review that policy before using AI Teacher or purchasing a subscription.
9. Availability, updates, and termination
We may update, suspend, or discontinue all or part of the App where reasonably necessary for maintenance, security, legal compliance, or operational reasons, subject to applicable law and any rights you have under these Terms or Apple’s purchase terms. We do not guarantee that the App or any feature will always be available, error-free, or compatible with every device.
10. Disclaimer of warranties
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the App is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without warranties not expressly required by law. We do not warrant that educational material or AI-generated answers will be accurate, complete, current, or suitable for every purpose. Nothing in these Terms excludes a consumer right or warranty that cannot lawfully be excluded.
11. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive losses arising from use of the App, including reliance on AI-generated answers or educational material. Nothing in these Terms limits liability where such limitation is prohibited by law, including liability that cannot legally be excluded or restricted.
12. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms to reflect changes to the App, subscriptions, service providers, or legal requirements. The updated Terms will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. Where required by law, we will provide additional notice or obtain consent.
13. Governing law and consumer rights
These Terms are subject to applicable law. Nothing in these Terms is intended to remove or restrict mandatory rights you may have under the consumer-protection laws of your country or region. The operator should insert a specific governing-law and jurisdiction clause only after confirming the appropriate legal entity, location, and applicable law.
